One of the great things about the RVG Reissue Series are the Liner Notes by [fellow Saint Louisan] Bob Blumenthal ('Another Look at..'). Even if I've upgraded a title to a Nihon BN or SACD, I keep the RVG for these. He nails the music & musicians and is a graceful writer.
